Everything You Need to Know about Your Role as a Speaker
- Once we are closer to the conference a detailed agenda for the speaker schedule will be sent to all speakers. This will provide you with the day and time you will be giving your submitted talk(s).
- Speakers are welcome to attend talks in any of the four conference rooms on Monday and Tuesday of the conference week. However, we kindly request that you transition to the room where you will be speaking at least 15 minutes before your scheduled talk. This will allow you ample time to familiarize yourself with the setup, connect with the AV technician who will assist you with your lapel mic and laptop connection, and ensure everything is in order. When you are within 15 minutes of your presentation, please contact the individual managing the camera in your room. They will connect you with the AV technician for that room. Take a seat up front and await your turn, ensuring a smooth transition between speakers. Once your presentation is complete, please return the lapel mic, and feel free to enjoy the remainder of the conference at your leisure.
- If you have technical questions or issues before or during your presentation, the AV technician will be your point of contact.
